AntiMicroX is open-source software that allows you to map keyboard or mouse keys to a gamepad, so you can use it to control any app or video game that does not natively support a controller. You can also use the program to generate an SDL2 configuration, which is very useful when mapping gamepads that are different from the standard set by the Xbox 360 controller.
Connect a controller and start configuring
To start using AntiMicroX, you must first connect the controller you want to configure. Once connected, the program will recognize it and show you a relatively intuitive graphical representation of all the available buttons. Just click on any button to choose the keyboard or mouse key you want to assign it to. Similarly, you can calibrate the sticks' sensitivity to match the app or game you want to use the configuration for.
Create as many configurations as you like
One of the great advantages of AntiMicroX is that it allows you to create many different configurations, which you can save under different names. This way, you can have a configuration ready for each video game or app you want to use your controller for. Just load the configuration you want, wait a few seconds, and you're done. You can even share your favorite configurations with your friends by simply exporting the file.
Enjoy several options at your disposal
You can customize your experience with AntiMicroX from the configuration options menu. You can choose if you want the software to launch on Windows startup, if you want it to always load the last profile used (a very useful option), or if you want it to display messages with notifications regarding the controller's battery. All this and much more can be quickly configured from the configuration menu.
Use your favorite gamepad with any app
Download AntiMicroX if you are looking for a tool to help you play any video game using your favorite controller, even if it does not natively support it. Many older video games are incompatible with some of the newer controllers, but thanks to this software, that will no longer be a problem.
